With her new movie “Prometheus” set to hit theaters on June 8th, Noomi Rapace pitched in on promotions by taking over the cover of Dazed & Confused.

The 32-year-old Swedish actress prettied up the pages in a Theysken’s Theory dress with Sølve Sundsbø shooting the spread for the magazine’s ‘Intergalactic’ issue.

In the accompanying interview, Miss Rapace dishes about leaving behind “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” to take on her latest role as Elizabeth Shaw in Ridley Scott’s highly-anticipated film.

Commenting on her character in “Prometheus”, Noomi said, “I’m not here to be beautiful. I’m not here to be sexy. Sometimes you can do a sexy part, or play a woman who’s supposed to be beautiful, and then we can do beauty. That’s for another movie. But for this movie it was sweat. More sweat, then more dirt. More blood.”

“The make-up artist said that it was unusual for actors to ask for more fake blood and sweat but I loved it,” she added.

But life is not a matter of trying to prove anything to anybody”.

When it comes to Cruise’s family he’s not afraid to fight back false media claims, “They know I mean it, that if I have to, I will sue,” says Cruise. “You start with a letter saying, ‘Okay, you know it’s not true. Apologize.’”

It’s easy to see Tom is very much in love with his wife Katie because when asked about her, he gushes, “She’s funny and charming, and when she walks into the room, I just feel better. I’m a romantic. Tom also touched on his religious beliefs saying, “What’s interesting is, if I don’t talk about my religion, if I say I’m not discussing it or different humanitarian things I’m working on, they’re like, ‘He’s avoiding it.’ If I do talk about it, it becomes, ‘Oh, he’s proselytizing.’”

Cruise added, “I have respect for what other people believe. What I believe in my own life is that it’s a search for how I can do things better, whether it’s being a better man or a better father or finding ways for myself to improve. Individuals have to decide what is true and real for them.”

Giving back in a major way, Taylor Swift is donating $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, according to an announcement from the institution on Thursday (May 17).

The donation made by the country cutie marks the largest grant given to the museum by an artist, and the money is said to help fund an exhibit and classroom space dubbed as the “Taylor Swift Education Center” - which is expected to open in 2014.

In a statement, the museum’s director, Kyle Young, said, “It will allow us to do what we do better, serve more people, develop new programs and I’m happy to say that as we talked through this opportunity with Taylor, she very much wants to be involved in an advisory capacity in what we do. Is there a better person out there who’s in touch with a young audience?”
