Confirming rumors that first broke the previous night, Paula Abdul is a judge on “The X Factor” no more.

The 49-year-old released an official statement on the matter on Tuesday (January 31), as she told, “Yes, it’s true; I won’t be returning to The X Factor next season. I’ve learned through my longevity in this industry that business decisions often times override personal considerations.”

Miss Abdul continued, “Simon and I, along with Fox and Fremantle, have been communicating about this for a while now, and I have absolute understanding of the situation. Simon is, and will remain a dear friend of mine and I’ve treasured my experience working this past season with my extended family at Fox and Fremantle.”

With the exit coming after just one season, Paula’s wished the show well going forward, as she added, “I want nothing more than for The X Factor to exceed ALL of their wildest dreams. This truly has been a blessing and I am most grateful.”

Having a little fun while vacationing in Australia, the “Baywatch” star posted a picture on Twitter of what looked to be him proposing to his Welsh model girlfriend, Hayley Roberts.

But apparently, the proposition wasn’t official – as he told People magazine, “The truth is I’m having a fantastic time with this lovely lady but at this time we have no plans to marry.”

“But who knows? As they say in Wales, ‘Cymru Am Byth!’ or Wales forever!” the silly-hearted actor added.

She’s been busy with international promotions, and earlier today (January 31) Lana Del Rey was spotted out and about in Paris, France.

The “Video Games” songstress looked cute and casual in a tan jacket with a white scarf and blue jeans as she chatted with fans while leaving her hotel.

As for her recent criticism for her “Saturday Night Live” performance, Lana shared that she was actually pretty happy with how she looked and sang.

“I actually felt good about it. I thought I looked beautiful and sang fine … I know some people didn’t like it, but that’s just the way I perform, and my fans know that.”

And Daniel Radcliffe, who hosted the episode also came to Miss Del Rey’s defense. “It was unfortunate that people seemed to turn on her so quickly. I also think people are making it about things other than the performance … if you read what people are saying about her online, it’s all about her past and her family and stuff that’s nobody else’s business. I don’t think [the performance] warranted anywhere near that reaction.”

Her soon-to-be-ex-husband Seal has been very vocal about their divorce, and now Heidi Klum is sharing her gratitude for her fans’ support.

The “Project Runway” babe took to her Twitter page to share a very special message with her followers today.

Heidi tweeted, “Hi everyone, I want to thank u for all your support & kind words. [It] really means so much. Thanks again…to the best fans in the world! xoHeidi”

In an earlier joint statement, Klum and Seal shared, “We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.”

Heading out to fulfill more media obligations, Jennifer Lopez was spotted leaving her hotel in New York City this morning (January 31).

The “On the Floor” songstress was accompanied by boyfriend, Casper Smart, while looking pretty in a pink coat paired with pink heels as she hopped into her chauffeured vehicle to cruise down the Big Apple streets.

The NYC sighting comes as it was just announced that Lopez has been tapped as a presenter for this year’s 84th Annual Academy Awards ceremony.

The Oscars will take place a the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, CA and will air live on ABC beginning at 7 PM ET on February 26.

Solidifying his status as a sex symbol, Daniel Radcliffe looks hunky on the cover of Esquire UK magazine’s March 2012 issue.

The “Woman in Black” star talks about his tendency to get offers for sex from female fans, though he never takes them up on it.

“I’m a serial monogamist. I’m not one of those people that can date loads of people at the same time, it’s all too complicated. I recently had this woman who wrote to me a couple of times, offering sex. She didn’t say it explicitly, but she said, “This is my hotel room number, I will be sitting in row C, seat 26 and wearing a red scarf.”‘

He also notes that though he had huge success with “Harry Potter,” he’s not resting on his laurels. “I’m trying to challenge myself. Taking care of some media duties, Nick Jonas paid a visit to the “Elvis Duran Z100 Morning Show” in New York City this morning (January 31).

The “Who I Am” singer chatted about what it takes to maintain a long distance relationship while simultaneously being a famous singer/actor.

“I always think about my brother and his wife. They have an amazing relationship. At the beginning of their journey together they were long-distance for a lot of it. They handled it really well. So if I can look at that and see what I can take from that and infuse it into my sort of journey and love I think I’ll be alright.”

Nick also discussed what it felt like to jump into his role in “How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” on Broadway.

“It is an interesting things because I’ve been so used to being part of a unit with me and my brothers for so many years now. And to come into a new group, it’s something I had to do when I was in “Les Mis” last year, and I ended up with so many life friends, which was a great experience. The cast has been amazing and so welcoming and so helpful.”

Continuing her worldwide media blitz, Rooney Mara was spotted at a press conference for “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” in Tokyo, Japan today (January 31).

The “Social Network” starlet showed up at Tokyo Midtown sporting a fabulous white Givenchy top with black H&M trousers and black heels as she fielded questions along with director David Fincher.

On Monday (January 30), Rooney was over at the Tokyo International Forum where she attended a screening of the film.

And Japanese fans of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” will get to feast their eyes on the film when it hits theaters on February 10th.
