Meanwhile, Mr Cannon recently took to his website to try and offer advice to all of those out there who end up consuming one too many drinks while ushering in 2012.

The rundown of Nick’s top five hangover cures are as follows:

Hair of the Dog: Some bartenders say that the best way to get rid of a hangover is to have a cocktail. Just one or two sugary cocktails like a Mai Tai, and you’ll be back to feeling like your old self.

Vitamin Water or plain H20: Alcohol makes you dehydrated, and being dehydrated can cause headache, dizziness and dry mouth, so water is the way to go.

Soda or Coffee: Caffeine will always help with the hangover.

Kentucky Fried Chicken: Some think that greasy food like Colonel Sanders’s will absorb the alcohol out of your body with all the grease. I don’t know if that works, but any excuse to order up some KFC is fine with me.

Hit the gym: Get all the toxins out of your system by sweating it out.
