With their friends on the east coast wanting a chance to celebrate and congratulate the newlyweds, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were bestowed a lavish post-wedding soiree in New York City on Wednesday night (August 31).

The E! reality star and her NBA playing husband were both all dressed up as they were the guests of honor at the Jason Binn and Colin Cowie hosted “A Night of Style & Glamour” celebration at Capitale.

Prior to the nighttime festivities, Kim excitedly tweeted, “Can’t wait to be welcomed to NYC tonight by @JasonBinn & @ColinCowie …be sure to follow them for gr8 pics. They know parties!”

Joining in on the festivities, which included endless amounts of the finest cuisine, alcohol and a cake presentation ceremony, were Kim’s sister Kourtney, as well as La La Anthony, Eric Kelly, Paul Schaffer, Ramona Singer, Tinsely Mortimer and Alex McCord, among many others.

Meanwhile, Kim continues to spill details about her lavish wedding - which airs during a two-part E! special on October 8-9th - as she most recently revealed what her bridesmaids received for taking part in the nuptials.

Kim wrote, “As a gift from me to all of my bridesmaids, I had custom Judith Leiber bags made with each bridesmaid’s initials on them! I also got bags for my mom and for Kris’s mom, Debra! Judith also custom made me a handbag replica of my wedding cake! It’s one of a kind!”

Promising to do it her own way, the expectant mother says from here on out it’s more about the music and story being told than elaborate theatrics.

Explaining her want for such a frill-free performance, Beyonce told, “I feel like I know who I am and I don’t have to put myself in a box and no one can define me. All I have to do is have fun and have artistic freedom to do whatever I want.”

Allowing for things to be a little more public than his former employer prefers, the arbitrator overseeing the case between Charlie Sheen, Warner Bros. and “Two and a Half Men” co-creator Chuck Lorre has denied the studio’s request for a gag order surrounding the proceedings.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, all parties are now allowed to speak freely to the press regarding any such issues regarding the case.

Despite the decision, the media is still banned from the arbitration itself, as well as all “sensitive and proprietary” details during the hearings.

Back in June, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled that the case, which stems from Sheen’s firing from the number one sitcom, would be deliberated privately and would not be heading to a public trial.

Taking their partnership one step further, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen traveled to Tegucigalpa, Honduras alongside TOMS founder Blake Mycoskie earlier this summer to deliver shoes to children in need.

The talented fashionistas, along with a group of other charitable pals, visited the area where they toured classrooms, spent time with community members and, most importantly, bestowed much-needed footwear to the schoolkids.

Documenting the touching event, Mary-Kate and Ashley filmed their experience, of which Ashley told, “We’re very aware of Blake’s work and what he was doing and trying to accomplish and it’s something, obviously, we wanted to be a part of. The children are so special and kind and loving and welcoming…they’re just incredible!”

Her twin sister added, “It’s really taught me a little bit more about myself and how I can be more affectionate and loving and how putting a smile on a kid’s face is, well…there’s nothing like it!”

The Olsen’s trip comes as a result of their label The Row’s limited-edition collaboration with TOMS, where for each TOMS + The Row shoe is sold, a well-deserving child in need receives a pair of shoes.

While chatting with E! News, the 19-year-old heartthrob couldn’t help but gush about his “Twilight” co-star, in which he said Kristen is “going to be cool and edgy and dark” while adding that he thinks her lead in “Snow White and the Huntsmen” is “really exciting.”

The model-turned-actress is negotiating to play the role of Amber, who happens to be the love interest to Magic Mike, played by the hunky Channing Tatum.

Getting on with post-prison life, VH1 has announced plans for a 10-episode reality show series starring T.I..

Having been granted release from an Arkansas penitentiary earlier today (August 31), the Grammy Award-winning rapper is set to give fans a “behind the scenes look” as he reunites “with his wife and kids and thrust back into society at this crucial juncture in his life.”

Now a free man, the series will follow the “Whatever You Like” artist as he works to get back on track and begins recording a new studio album in an effort to return to the music scene.

T.I. served an 11-month stint in the slammer on a weapons violation charge he incurred back in October 2010.
