Keep A Child Alive: The Black Ball 2010

Always one of the more well-attended events of the season, the stars joined together for the 2010 Keep A Child Alive’s Black Ball in New York City on Thursday night (September 30).

As for the red carpet highlights, a radiant Alicia Keys showed off her growing baby bump while mingling with Usher in between spending time with her man, Swizz Beatz.

Keeping things interesting was the always-entertaining Whitney Houston, who was her usual wackily outgoing self while making a grand entrance into the annual fundraiser.

The reason behind the swanky soiree was all about bringing in the bucks for charity, as Keep A Child Alive “brings celebrity and philanthropy together to fulfill hopes, dreams and raise funds for children and families with HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.”

“I Am Number Four”: Ready to Captivate Audiences

One of the most anticipated films of early 2011, Disney has seemingly crafted another winner in the upcoming motion picture titled “I Am Number Four”.

Directed by “Eagle Eye” vet D.J. Caruso, the Alex Pettyfer led cast also includes “Glee” star Dianna Agron, Timothy Olyphant, Teresa Palmer and Jake Abel of “Supernatural” stardom.

As for a little background info, “I Am Number Four” finds an extraordinary teen named John Smith (Pettyfer) as a fugitive on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him.

Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri (Olyphant), John encounters unexpected, life-changing events including his first love (Agron), along with powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny.

Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel: “Life As We Know It”

Doing their best to boost interest in their upcoming movie, Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel teamed up for the “Life As We Know It” premiere in New York City on Thursday (September 30).

Held at the Ziegfeld Theatre, the lovely co-stars smilingly posed for pictures while joining director Greg Berlanti and numerous co-stars for the red carpet affair in advance of the film’s October 8th release date.

As for the plot of the movie, “Life As We Know It” is about “two single adults becoming caregivers to an orphaned girl when their mutual best friends die in an accident.”

Recently chatting with ET during a press interview, Miss Heigl - who recently adopted a daughter named Naleigh - spoke about further family expansion with her musician hubby, Josh Kelley.

She dished, “I definitely want to have a lot of kids. I think Josh is down with it. He seems cool. His thing is that he’s a little nervous about outnumbering us. So, he thinks it should be like one or two and I think it should be like five or six.”

As for Duhamel and wife Fergie, the “Transformers” hunk said, “It’s definitely part of the plan. We just need to be in the same city. … It’s just a matter of, like I said, when.”

Drawing out a star-studded guest list for the second year in a row, Hollywood’s biggest stars converged at Variety’s 2nd Annual Power Of Women Luncheon in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday (September 30).

Gracing the female strong fete were “Mad Money” actress Katie Holmes, ho happily posed alongside her “Don’t Be Afraid” of the Dark co-star Bailee Madison and Kerry Washington at the Beverly Hills Hotel event.

Also in attendance were two of Hollywood’s hottest actresses, as Jennifer Garner and Anne Hathaway joined up for a few photos during the course of the afternoon get-together.

Justin Bieber’s “U Smile” Music Video Premiere

Making it’s much anticipated debut, Justin Bieber premiered his new music video for the hit song “U Smile” on Thursday evening (September 30).

The 16-year-old superstar dished to MTV News that his new video is about “letting fans experience the ultimate fantasy for any hard-core Belieber: being Justin’s girlfriend.”

Tweeting about the “U Smile” clip, Justin tweeted, “I took the opportunity 2 make a video 4 the fans, about a fan, and how we could fall IN LOVE. Love Grows. #LoveGrows.”

Earlier this year, Bieber - who is a known addictive Twitter user - wrote about the song, “It really is a throwback to the great records I listened to growing up. I wrote it for all my fans who got me here.”

Miley Cyrus: West Coast Cutie

Soaking up the warm west coast sunshine, Miley Cyrus was all smiles as she trekked about Westwood, California on Thursday afternoon (September 30).

Looking as cute as can be in a white t-shirt and black short shorts, the Disney darling and a gal pal busily chatted amongst one another while being followed by a pack of paparazzi,

The Miley sighting comes just days before the airing of an all-new episode of “Hannah Montana” on Sunday, October 3 at 8 PM ET on the Disney Channel.

Jessica Alba: All Business in Burbank

Tending to her all-important work duties, Jessica Alba was spotted looking stylish in Burbank, California on Thursday (September 30).

Wearing an interesting pair of boots as she was escorted out by a security staffer, the “Machete” actress visited ABC Studios for a quick business-related meeting.

Seemingly not the most punctual of mornings for the beautiful brunette, Miss Alba tweeted, “I hate being late… Its too early for this level of stress.”

Khloe Kardashian: Dash Darling

Making a few stops around Calabasas, California, Khloe Kardashian was spotted popping by the Dash Store on Thursday (September 30).

Acting a bit out of character, the “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami” star was not in the mood to be photographed and showed no love for the on-hand photogs.

Her somber mood was most likely the result of having to send her hubby Lamar Odom off to Los Angeles Pre-Season basketball practice earlier today.

She tweeted, “My hubby is off to London today :( Laker Pre-season… I have to get used to the season again. #goLakers!”

Britney Spears: Post-Court Daycare Duty

Heading to pick up her boys after a court meeting, Britney Spears was spotted in Encino, California earlier today (September 30).

The “Circus” star looked to be in good spirits, despite the fact that she was denied the right to control her own finances.

According to TMZ, Judge Goetz met with both Brit and her father individually and revealed, “At this time all orders will remain in full force and effect.”

Furthermore, after a petition was pitched to get approval on the “investment strategies” of Britney’s trust, the judge gave the go-ahead.
